Grace groaned in pain rolling on something. She felt that she was above something soft. She opened her eyes to found herself in a big comfy bed. A thick cozy quilt was sprawled over her body protecting her from the cold winds that were coming from the big window.
She opened her eyes groaning because of the pain in her back. She found herself in strange surroundings. That was a room. Not just a normal room. She got that she was at some different place.
She quickly sat up on the bed analyzing everything. The tension rose in her mind because last time when she was conscious, she was with 'him'
~//~FLASHBACK~//~
"You can't even imagine how cruel punishments I give to my transgressors," he hissed.
She felt her breaths were becoming irreversible. The man she spent her night with is now scarring her to the core. She can't even believe that she really consume the whole 12 hours with him.
"I...I won't come with you," She again said trying to sound that she is fine and not afraid of him but from inside, she was shivering and trembling in fright.
The man looked at her bewildered. The rage can be seen in his grey-eyes. He was fuming with anger and the girl is making him more furious. She was getting on his nerves for her stubborn behavior. She was making him do the things he might regret later.
"Listen, you damn girl, Don't make me more furious and Do as I say otherwise, I will do as I please," He barked in a threatening voice almost hovering over her trembling figure. She clutched her quilt tightly.
Her lips started trembling badly. Now the man's presence was frightening her whereas it was pleasurable and soothing last night. "So, Do as I say," He warned her gritting his teeth. His orbs were even scarier than before as if he was giving her a lesson.
"I'm not going anywhere with you. And why I should? I did nothing wrong. We just met yesterday and my bad luck that I stuck in this hotel room with you. But now, I won't I'm going," She yelled on his face tired of his domineering behavior.
His eyes were showing flabbergasts for some second but next, they changed into dark ones again and he smirked leaning closer to her face.
"Oh really, I think you're the one who was so desperate to be with me last night, Not me," he said smirking. The tear of guilts again filled Grace's eyes when she found him taunting her. He is now, making Mockery of this.
"I'm going," She said taking her steps away from him but he was fast enough to grasp her by her elbow and slammed her back on the wall earning a wince from her mouth. But he didn't care about this.
He pulled out something from the drawer making her gasp in fear. It was a gun. A damn gun. Now, she was able to guess how dangerous that man could be that he freaking has a gun with him. The guy shoved the gun deeper on her stomach over the quilt earning a wince from her.
But her fright was on top of her pain. She was frightened that he might kill her.
"Now you gonna leave, Huh?" He gritted again tightening the grip around the gun. "L..Leave m..me, Pl..please," Grace was so damn terrified by him she was feeling as if her strength was slowly leaving her body and she was feeling the black dots. The vision of her eighth was becoming a blur and her grip on her quilt was losing slowly.
She falls to the ground leaving him confused.
~//~FLASHBACK ENDS~//~
Grace grasped her hair feeling drained and frowned after remembering everything.
I fell unconscious last time. B..but wait, h..how did I have c..clothes on my b..body?
Did he?
Grace cringed again gripping her hair. She was feeling like killing herself now.

"Mr. Knight, I guess the girl is back to her consciousness,"
The servant informed him. Sitting on his armchair near the fireplace, He nodded moving his finger signaling the man to leave The man nod and left the cabin. Pressing his cigarette onto the glass plate, he got up turning his feet towards the door's direction and left his cabin to go to the room, where he has settled the girl.
He went upstairs opening the door where his dark blue orbs met with her. She was fighting with herself. He found it so strange and not to forget a little bit of adorable. The girl was definitely playing with his mind so badly that he is finding himself messing around.
When she felt his presence in the room her eyes directed towards him. He was now standing once again in front of her. Wearing a dark blue shirt, sleeves folded on his elbows with complimenting black jeans no doubt he was looking devilishly handsome.
Grace gulped seeing him but soon her mind came out of the clouds and she glared at him. He closed the door behind himself and took the steps towards her.
"Why did you brought me here?" She yelled completely furious by him and his actions.
"Voice low, Sweetheart," He said huskier. There was a mysterious smile on his lips which was making Grace even more furious.
"WHY SHOULD I? HOW MANY TIMES I TOLD YOU I DID NOTHING. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY YOU BROUGHT ME HERE. I DID NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU. WHY DON'T YOU LET ME GO?" She screamed as the level of the anger was increasing randomly on her.
"Stop quacking like Ducks. You're such a Ducky," He jeered trying to suppress his laugh. It wasn't funny for Grace at all. She was stuck with him without even her will. She wants to go back to her previous life.
"Listen, I don't have anything to do with you too. And, you don't have any need to scare. I won't harm you till you will not shove your foot in my personal business, You're just here because of some of the uncertainties, And I will let you go once, I will be convinced that you're no harm for me,"
He explained making her almost numb. She didn't believe what he just said. He said that he is having vacillations because of her. Grace in her whole life never harmed anyone any the gunman was having insecurities because of her.
She doesn't whether to pride or to cry on this.
"Also, on top of that, Where will you go? As long as I remember you don't have any job. What will you do? Isn't it a great opportunity for you?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He sat on his big leather armlength chair leaning and closed his eyes. No doubt, the girl is being a headache for him. But he doesn't have any choice left. He can't let anyone take down his domain. His everything is his empire, his vigor.
After all, he is Dylan Knight, the most powerful and feared man in the city. He doesn't believe any random person. It takes almost life to earn his trust.
But one girl. Only she who is making him a mess.
He wants to believe in her every time he sees her teary eyes but no, He can't let her go till he is confirmed that she is really no harm to him or anything that could relate to him. He can't let that fact easily slip off his mind that when she was with him, his godown and important cash data has been robbed.
Is it really a coincidence.
But his mind doesn't want to believe in this. Till he is convinced.
His mind diverted when he heard a knock on the door. "Come in," He vocalized in his deep husky voice. His eyes diverted to the manly figure that entered the cabin.
"We nearly had a big loss because of the mess." The guy said before rubbing his temple.
"How much?" Asked Dylan.
"Umm... Nearly, 3 million dollars," he said making Dylan's eye widen in astonishment.
"What?" He almost yelled as the guy sighed. Dylan slammed his hand on the table before cursing. "Shit!"
It's all because of that damn girl
"Did you found out something?" Dylan asked.
The other guy sharing almost matching personalities as Dylan huffed and marched towards another leather chair placed opposite of Dylan's one. "Not yet," he said leaning back on the chair and closed his eyes as if he was so tired.
"Seriously your tasks are so tiresome," He said rolling his eyes and Dylan glared at him but he seems to be unbothered by this as if he knows Dylan much well compared to others. Which he did.
"This ain't a joke, Aiden. We have lost three fucking millions." Dylan groaned in incredulity.
"When I said this is a joke? Here, I got this file after so much hard work. My ruined self," He said dramatically making Dylan roll his eyes. He took the file that has been placed by Aiden on the desk and opened it for analysis.
His eyes twitches and he looked at Aiden in confusion. Aiden who has his half eyes open turned his head towards him.
"She recently finished her graduation from ST. PETER'S," Aiden informed making him nod in return. "It doesn't seem she is any harm to you, Come on, let the poor little girl go," Aiden keened.
"I don't know, maybe you're right, But....."
Dylan paused in middle gaining full attention from Aiden who became frustrated not knowing anything about what was going inside Dylan's malignant brain.
"But..?" He repeated
Dylan was silent leaning on his spot. Aiden can definitely notice a slight smirk on his lips.
"I won't till I am pleased,"
